Inter Miami CF Celebrates Month of Giving with Thanksgiving Food Drive Presented by HairClub

Club works with corporate sponsor HairClub to gift bags of food and non-perishables to members of the community

It has been a week full of giving for Inter Miami CF, as the Club worked alongside their corporate sponsor HairClub to assemble and distribute 150 bags of non-perishable food items and products across both Miami Dade County and Broward County to members of the community who have been highly impacted during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Following the end of its inaugural MLS season, Inter Miami kicked off the 2020 Thanksgiving Food Drive Presented by HairClub early Monday morning, welcoming their partner to Inter Miami CF Stadium to work side by side to assemble 150 bags of food to benefit those in need.

Adhering to very strict health and safety COVID 19 protocols, executives from HairClub worked alongside members of Inter Miami to make sure that each bag had non-perishable holiday staple food items as well as donated products from Club partners HairClub, Bodega Trivento Argentina, Baptist Health as well as gift certificates from Papa Johns.

In Broward county, a portion of the bags went to the Miami Rescue Mission and Broward Outreach Center, a nonprofit organization that has served the homeless and the most in need since 1922. The Club partnered with city of Miami officials to distribute bags across Miami Dade County to senior citizens and families in unprivileged neighborhoods.

In addition to the Thanksgiving Food Drive, Inter Miami also worked with a second corporate partner Papa Johns to donate 50 large pizzas to a local Miami Dade homeless shelter that has seen a significant increase in people in need over recent months. Inter Miami staff members personally delivered the pizzas to Camillus House, a nonprofit service center that has been helping the poor and homeless of South Florida since 1960. Distributing between 800-1,000 meals a day on average, Camillus House was grateful for the continued support from the Club.

As the Club’s season comes to an end, Inter Miami is happy to be able to work with HairClub on this great initiative and hopes that each bag brings a little bit of comfort into the recipient's home during this holiday season.
