In partnership with Baptist Health, the Club’s First Team players underwent medical examinations at Inter Miami CF Training Center earlier this week as the team kicked off its 2021 preseason preparations.
“We had a great day of medicals on Sunday at our world-class training facilities. We carried out the examinations in collaboration with doctors from Baptist Health’s team,” said Inter Miami Head Athletic Trainer Kei Utsumi. “Everything went really smooth. We followed COVID-19 protocols and worked with doctors and players in a safe environment.”
“The guys are in great shape medically, and they are very excited and ready to work hard to achieve the Club’s goals in the 2021 season,” he added.
Meanwhile, right back Dylan Nealis, who returns for his second season after making his debut with Inter Miami in 2020, showcased his delight at getting back to work and was appreciative of the efforts of the medical team that looks after the players.
“It was great to be back. It’s good to see everybody’s face again. We are all excited for this new season. There was a great environment around the facility and locker room and we’re excited to have a great year,” he stated.
“Huge thanks to the Baptist Health team. They were nothing short of awesome and we are very happy to have them take care of us,” concluded Nealis.
