With Inter Miami’s preseason in full swing, First Team players continue to ready themselves physically and fine tune details ahead of the start of the 2021 MLS campaign. For young striker Julián Carranza, the team is more mature this year and is ready to take on the Club’s second season in the best way possible.

“I think we come into this second year with more experience. We know the league, the players and the teams. I think this second year will be our year to settle in the league,” said Carranza.

The 20-year-old Argentine then highlighted the positive vibe within the team, spearheaded by new head coach Phil Neville, and the bond that has been brewing between the players and the English tactician.

“The relationship with Phil is really good. He has a very good predisposition when it comes to talking to him. He knows how to listen to you, how to treat you and how to give you instructions and correct you in a good way; he listens to your point of view, which is the most important thing. I think that is essential in a coach, to be able to talk to the player without getting angry or anything. We are doing very well, I think the ideas he has are very good and we are working hard to implement them on the field.”
